I've now finished the packing and in the last throws of labelling the boxes then they're ready to go. My friend Patrice is typing the packing list, Darryl at Platinum Cargo is just awaiting my word, Fred and John at Bourne Bathrooms and Kitchens are also waiting for that call that tells them all is ready to go.
John will collect all 44 boxes from me, take them to DRJ at Dandenong South for stacking onto 3 pallets, they'll shrink wrap all, measure and then we'll farewell it all for it's journey to Melbourne Port for it's journey Colombo Sri Lanka.
I aim to have the cargo leave Melbourne before the 2nd week of July, the duration of the journey to Colombo via Singapore will take 3 weeks.
Once it arrives in Sri Lanka, Palitha and Thariq from SDV Logistics will ensure that all 44 boxes clear Customs with ease and are delivered to Raja's home where I will arrive to on the 26th of August to start the unpacking so that he and I can make the deliveries to the children.
I've enough school books, pencils and other education items, toiletries and toys to help 400 children.
